Dr. Zalis grew up in Spain and knew from an early age that she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated from Complutense University of Madrid and moved to the United States where she received her veterinary degree equivalence at Tufts University. Dr. Zalis is an avid soccer fan. She enjoys watching soccer and spending time with her family and pets.
